Infocamere Augmented Reality Research & Development
For Infocamere, IT department of Italy's Camera di Commercio, we were asked to do reasearch and development on AR mobile technologies.
I was in charge of developing various prototypes, from simple AR image tracking to more advanced AR landscape tracking.
For landscape augmented reality, I used advanced image tracking and motion tracking.
The combination of these two functionalities, let the user moves freely in the real world while maintaining the augmented objects mapped to the real world even when the user isn't pointing to the starting image.
I also used occluder objects to hide augmented objects when they're covered by real world objects.
Studio: ToDo
Task: I was in charge of the development of the various mobile AR prototypes
Software: Unity + Google AR Core library
Programming language: C#
Client: Infocamere | Società Camera di Commercio
